Posted onVerified 19 day island tour We have spent the last 19 days travelling the beautiful & diverse island of Sri Lanka under the guidance of our incredible driver & guide Chandima. He has been very accommodating to our requests. Very informative with a very good grasp of English, making it easy to communicate. He even was aware of my unusual sense of humour. He is also a very competent driver who always made us feel safe in the shambolic traffic of Sri Lanka. We werewith him for 9 days - mostly day trips with a base in a tiny village (Dambagalla) while we visited our daughter and spent time with her host family. He took us to places we wanted to see and recommended several other sights. He made the journey comfortable and safe, which can be challenging on the narrow roads in the country, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Highly recommend! Before and during the trip, he thought well of the choices to be made with us. He was always very relaxed, flexible to adjust the schedule and told us in full about Sri Lanka and its history. In addition, he is a very good driver who drove very safely and relaxed. We would recommend Chandis to anyone if you want to take a trip through Sri Lanka!

At first, we actually thought we wouldn’t need a guide – but we quickly realized that we were a bit lost and wasting a lot of time researching and going back and forth from one place to another. So we decided to book a guide. It was the best decision we could have made.By chance, I came across the guide website through Google, and we were assigned Rohitha as our guide. He was a very good Guide. Thank you for everything. And a big big thank you for the fact that it worked out so spontaneously with the guide the next day. It made us very happy. A friend of us recommended using Chandi as our driver and guide for our two weeks Sri Lanka tour - that turned out to be a very good piece of advise! Chandi is very punctual and reliable, and always displayed a very friendly, open and positive attitude towards us. He is a very safe driver, so you can relax and even take a nap while driving. Chandi was very good at suggesting sights and activities to our liking. Chandi is very knowledgable about Sri Lankan culture, history and society in general. We felt like saying hello to a driver and goodbye to a good friend, and we highly recommend Chandi!
