TOUR 4 – THE CLASSIC TOUR OF SRI LANKA. ( 12 NIGHTS )

This tour is designed to give you a comprehensive and long lasting experience of Sir Lanka. It combines all aspects of the country, spiritual, historical, natural, the beach and the wildlife. You will have the chance to savour the country at your own speed.

Day 1

Pick up at airport and drive to hotel in Negombo. This day can be spent relaxing on the beach or discovering the area.

Day 2

In the morning visit Elephant Orphanage, in the afternoon visit to the famous Rock Temple in Dambulla. Overnight stay in Dambulla.

Day 3

In the morning drive to Anuradhapura the ancient capital of Sri Lanka. In the afternoon visit Mihintale. Overnight stay in Dambulla.

Day 4

In the morning drive to Sigiriya, the 5th century fortress on the rock. In the afternoon visit Polunnaruwa. Overnight stay in Dambulla.

Day 5

Drive to Kandy, on the way visit Spice Garden in Matale. After a tour around Kandy you will see a performance of traditional dances in the evening followed by a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 6

Visit Botanical Gardens near Kandy, the Tea Museum and the hidden colonial cemetery as well as 3 temples. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 7

Drive to Nuwara Eliya, visiting a tea factory and waterfall on the way. Climb the Single Tree Mountain. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 8

Early morning start to Horton Plains and Worlds End. In the afternoon visit Haggala Flower Garden. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 9

Train journey from Nuwara Eliya (Nano Oya) to Ella passing through tea plantations, waterfalls and spectacular scenery. Overnight stay in Ella.

Day 10

Climb Little Adams Peak in the morning, then visit Rawana waterfalls and Buduruwagala temple on the way to Tissa. Overnight stay in Tissa.

Day 11

Safari in Yala National Park in the morning. Travel to Mirissa to have an afternoon on the beach relaxing. Overnight stay in Mirissa.

Day 12

Visit Galle Fort in the morning. In the afternoon go to turtle farm or boat safari. Overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 13

Transfer to the airport.
